About This Mod

Fix enemy sounds.

Fixes a number of issues, such as lack of sound effects and SFX playback, that should not be played. Using LCMaxSoundsFix with this mod is highly recommended, but not required.


Bracken.

Fixed crash sounds interrupted by death animation

Traps

Fixed screaming sound when hit a corpse.

Fixed the sounds of chase and drowning "steps" that didn't get looped

Fixed footstep sounds that persisted after death or stuck to player's head

Fixed inappropriate screams when falling from the ceiling after taking damage

Thunder

'Fixed thunder sound playing from audio when player disappears'

Can be reactivated in Settings.

Eye-free dog

Fixed reproduction of breath sound after death

Fixed bad breath after eating the player

Constant breathing sounds were sometimes played back to back (played twice from the same dog)

Fixed breathing, sometimes stopping completely after an attack

Fixed sound effects for disappearing beats

Fixed the sounds of blows, which were sometimes played when the dog stepped on the corpse of another enemy

Pantry beetle

Fixed the lack of sound effect at the time of death

Fixed crash sound interrupted by death animation

Forest Guard

Fixed audio stun effect that was not played during player rescue

Fixed chewing sound and blood splashes reproduced after eating animation was interrupted

Fixed the gaps between the sounds of comedy (laughter) and tragedy (crying), which grew exponentially longer the longer the game lasted.

In general, masked enemies and real masked objects sound louder.

This change can be disabled in Settings.

Added configuration settings to adjust volume and step distance according to the player's steps (disabled by default).

Maneater

Despite its (now obsolete) name, this mod also fixes some non-enemy sounds:


Player.

Fixed no playback of special sound effects in crash (except jetpack strikes)

Fixed overlapping sounds of blows when attacked with a shovel or knife

Cruiser

Fixed "stop motor" sound when the key turns too long even if you release the key and turn it again

Fixed the sound effect of multiple engine revolutions when the key is turned continuously

Fixed the sound effect of engine speed, which continues to play after ignition switch on

Fixed collision sounds that restarted every time the cruiser crashed into something (instead of overlapping)

Fixed tire contact sound, which can be played even when the cruiser is in the air

Fixed continuous sound of warning signals when the cruiser is attached to a magnet (but not damaged by it)

Added a setting to mute the cruiser (engine, horn, radio, etc.) on the road

Fixed an error that caused the Experimentation garage door to not make a sound when closing.

Fixed "Hey" sound when lightning strikes the ship.
