About This Mod

Improved general sound effects. Fixed weapon sounds using the same sound file and added a plugin to increase the volume of weapons sounds and effects. Added plugins to increase the volume of weapons sounds depending on the distance and fixed a bug where weapons sounds disappeared at a certain distance.


Not compatible with remote audio fixes or community patches.


==Actual changes.

-All the traditional weapons firing sounds, including those found in the DLC.

-Most energy weapons.

-Heavy weapons (rocket launchers, minigans, Tesla cannons, .)

-Darkened sounds of distant weapons have been replaced with more realistic ones.

-Increased the volume of all weapons sounds.

-More realistic sounds of medium range weapons.

-New, louder bumps are now heard at medium distances.

-Fixed weapons with the same sounds (hunter and sniper, smg and gun, silencer).

-(esp) Fixed an error that caused audio to disappear at a distance.

-Grotesque sounds of fragmentation and dismemberment. The sounds of broken bones and bleeding from shrapnel

-Reduced very loud sounds of poison/poisoning.

-More detailed sounds of weapon failure.

Fixed the shutter roll sound, which does not correspond to the lever arm animation.

-Shutter roll sound removed when weapons are removed.

-Snatch and raise sounds for melee weapons have been changed to be more generic than a baseball bat.

-Sounds of explosion for rockets, grenades, mines with bottle caps, robot-flippers and nuclear weapons.

-The sound of bullets.

-New sound of bullet impact, increased volume and distance.

-Improved ragdall sound.

ESP Description:

================

Sound FX Enhancements: (Essential ESP)

Fixes some weapon sounds with split sounds and increases the sound of shots, reloading and jamming. This must be enabled.


Improved FX audio - weapon sharing fixes:

This will prevent 'This Machine' and Sniper Rifle, Submachine Gun and SMG, Service Rifle and Varmint Rifle, Pistols and SMG from sharing the same sound with each other. Use the Unarmed sound instead of the Grenade sound when you equip your dynamite.


(You must use both).

These changes were left in place to resolve potential conflicts with other mods, which can be fixed by merging with the conflicting mod.

Use this file if you have all four primary DLCs (DM, HH, OWB, LR); do not use it if you have non-GRA DLC add-ons.


Enhanced Audio FX - DM:

Used in conjunction with Dead Money. Changes the volume of this weapon and applies the distance modifier.


Enhanced Audio FX - HH:

Used with Honest Hearts. Change the volume of this weapon and apply the distance correction.


Audio FX enhancements - HH sharing fix:

Correction of 45-caliber pistol and 9-mm pistol sound sharing.


FX Audio Enhancement - OWB Sharing Patch:

Fixed Old World Blues, Cyberdog Gun and SMG sharing, LSER and RCW sharing.


Enhanced FX Audio - LR sharing fixes:

Increased volume of some weapons for sharing Lonesome Road, SMMG and SMG.


Improvements to the soundtrack - GRA:

Includes volume changes and sharing fixes for Boza and Anti-Material Rifle (GRA).

Makes the new weapon added by Project Nevada equal in volume and ISFX sound distance.
