About This Mod

CustomInteriorRate v1.

Adjust the probability of drawing all types of interior on each map.


Settings.

The Enable option in the General section is the global switch for the plugin. If you set this to false, the plugin will be completely disabled and actually uninstalled.


Each card has a corresponding [Map<mapName>] section.


Enable: Disabled by default. Disabling does not change the probability table.

FactoryRate: If you leave this value blank or set it to a negative value, it will not be changed and the original game weight will be preserved. The normal range of values is from 0 to 1.

Manor Rate: If left blank or set to a negative value, this value is not changed and the original game weight is retained. The normal range of values is from 0 to 1.

MineshaftRate: If you leave this value blank or set it to a negative value, it will not change and the original game weight will remain. The normal range of values is from 0 to 1.

Note: After changing your game settings, you must restart the game.

If there are interiors that cannot be created by default, the plugin cannot change the probability of their creation.

The total probability of a factory and mansion is 95%: factory = 300, manor = 57, mine = 21,

Thus, the post-change factory probability = 300/(300+57)x0.95 = 0.80, and the mansion probability = 57/(300+57)x0.95 = 0.15.


Principle.

Before the map is created and the seeds of the map are received, the target interior type is selected according to a predetermined probability table. The plugin then continuously generates the map seed and predicts the interior type (using an in-game algorithm that calculates the interior type generated by that seed) until the generated interior type matches the target interior type. In other words, the game first releases an arrow and then draws a target.


Therefore, if a particular interior cannot be generated in the standard conditions of a given map, the plugin cannot change the probability of its generation.
