About This Mod

Overview

Scrap symbols change shape depending on cost

Icons are set to specific scrap items

The monitor compass now centers the player and optionally measures the distance to the ship

The monitor view can now be aligned to the player

The monitor compass now works in buildings

Operating Instructions

Activate settings

Install BetterMonitor in your profile

Open the ConfigEditor Configuration Editor

Locate the BetterMonitor.cfg file

Activate the fine tuning you want

Enable fine tuning from configuration

Save and close the Configuration Editor

Launch the game and you'll see that the Tweak is on.

Scrap Icons

Icon Value

Navigate to the LethalCompany folder in AppData%r2modmanPlus-local.

Open the ScrapIcons folder.

Copy and paste the icon (1:1, only .png images are recommended).

Rename the file to match the initial scrap value.

The default scrap file.

For example, 0.png all scrups, 59.png scrups, starting at 59, 89.png scrups above 89.

When you start the game, the following settings should be reflected.

Named scrap icons

Rename the name of the icon file to the in-game name of the scrap object (for example, Gift.png for Gift) (the itemName field of the object encoded).
