Funny fact: The overheating explosion," which is often attributed to the design of the jetpack, is actually the result of an error. Jetpacks do not have a temperature sensor or speed limit.


More detailed explanation.

It is possible that Zickers intentionally left this bug in the game. As a supposedly stabilizing feature of the raw power of the jetpack. However, since it was a side effect of this misbehavior (partially fixed in the v50), this mod removes it - you can move as fast as you want until you crash (you will die instantly anyway).


By default, if you fly too fast at high altitude, you will explode as described below.


I don't want my fame to collapse by soaring high into the sky and exploding like fireworks.

The main feature of the fashion is the corrected crash code, but there are some additional problems that I solved:


Fixed (infamous) battery bug, which caused jetpacks to lose charge when they shut down or fall to the ground.

Fixed a bug with "smoothing" control of motors (in vanilla pressing sometimes "failed" the input and did not activate the motors).

Fixed an error in interaction between the snake-tulip and the jet pack. This allows them to co-exist in (near) perfect harmony.

Fixed jetpack "hook" and momentum saving if the foot hits an object in flight.

Fixed a bug in the logic of the proximity alert (beep), which sometimes continued to sound in the clear sky or did not sound when approaching the terrain.

Fixed the distortion of the jetpack sound when flying with a jetpack (the Doppler effect does not extend to your own jetpack, but spreads when someone else uses the jetpack).

If you enable this setting in the configuration file, the jetpack drop gives the player an impulse rather than stopping it in place.

Configuration.

MidAirExplosions - allows you to control under what conditions the jet packs will explode.

Off replicates the original fashion behavior and only destroys the jetpack when confronted with something solid.

OnlyTooHigh - detonates the jetpack, but only if you are far above the map, above the vanilla "safe speed" (this is the new default).

AlwaysTooHigh - repeats the vanilla behavior most precisely, jet packs will always explode if they exceed their safe speed.

TransferMomentum - when the jetpack is reset, it either shoots in the same direction as the vanilla (True) or stops in place (False).
