About This Mod

Project Darkling is a mod I have been working on since February 2022. In total, it contains about 4300 files weighing more than 1.8 GB. The mod includes new textures for the main characters in the style of Darkling, weapons from various Final Fantasy games, dark effects, anti-voices, and a recolored user interface.


In creating this fashion, I was inspired by the enemy Darklings of Kingdom Hearts Union Cross, as well as Anti-Aqua. The idea was to spoil the main cast in the same way that Aqua did when trapped in the Dark Kingdom. I wanted them to look in the early stages of becoming a real Darkling.


To complete the image, I imported a lot of amazing weapons and gear from Final Fantasy and even swapped Sora's attack and movement effects. The user interface has also been completely rethought.


I originally created this mod as an add-on to Project Infection, which is now known as Kingdom Hearts III: Light vs. Darkness Edition. I think they go together perfectly, albeit with some contradictions. I also recommend Xantohjan Moveset Collection if you need a proper set of moves to complete the dark trinity.


I've had a lot of fun creating this game, I hope everyone likes it!
