About This Mod
Add to the ship's sound effects of atmospheric density, temperature, and relative speed. When the sound barrier is crossed, a muted sound (or, alternatively, no sound) is heard if the camera is outside the shock cone. A shock wave is heard as it passes through the cone. When the sound is moved out of the atmosphere, it gradually declines and becomes muted (or, alternatively, silent) in a vacuum. Inside the room, the sound is always audible, but muted.
The effects of plasma condensation in the game are now visible when driving at trans-sound speed. Plasma inlet effects are visible when traveling at hypersonic speed, regardless of altitude.
