About This Mod
FASTR is a major reworking of the Kenshi sheet system with a much better look and performance FASTR is a major reworking of the Kenshi sheet system with a much better look and performance. Please read the list of known bugs before installing
----- compatibility ------! Import is not required, installation/removal works smoothly, FASTR is still in development and is my biggest mod. <3 Not compatible with other foliage mods (Biome Edits, Less Foliage, Clean and Speed, Remove Swamp Vines, Thicc Foliage, etc.) Fashions that edit vanilla architecture can show some floating/hanging buildings!
----- New possibilities ------ -Many new foliage created by recycling vanilla assets such as river bank grass, scattered gravel fields and random tilted pines! -A large number of texture changes throughout the map to make them more uniform in different biomes; some textures in Basta, Sinkoun and the Burning Forest have been completely altered to become more realistic and beautiful. Lots of rocks and pebbles to match the relief of the "Spawn" biome. -A large number of size changes to improve the realism of assets, including reducing wetlands, increasing the maximum size of most trees, and improving the scale and location of rocks in the area. Arrows, inverts, and boulders can be moved more easily. -Removed overused and unrealistic assets from many biomes, making the unique vegetation more visible.
---- fixes------ - Game performance is significantly improved by reducing the visibility of a large number of assets that are farther away than the render can see. -Fixed many assets that were invisible due to alpha clipping, were too small or slept underground. Alpha clipping has been adjusted to make some trees appear thicker. -Significantly reduced density of clusters of leaves and stones and increased their scale. Trees are more evenly distributed and encounter each other less frequently. -Significantly improved collisions and paths. The majority of the objects have added cutters to the navigation net, restored the possibility of colliding with large boulders in the field, and the characters are unable to overcome the often hooked foliage.
