About This Mod

This is a mod created exclusively for personal preferences, which realizes a simple function - instant destruction of all enemy units.


This feature replaces the original "thermonuclear missiles" feature and is specifically configured to:


Damage: 45,000 → 3.402823E+38

( The numerical limit of FLOAT is set and it does not cause numerical overflow, even if the damage ratio is set much higher than 1 and there is a bonus buff of several battle cruisers that has been checked and confirmed. It must have built-in overflow protection (or the operation uses the DOUBLE type), so you can use the FLOAT numeric limit with confidence).

( In addition, when trying to develop a MOD, it was found that changing the numeric type of this element to DOUBLE causes a failure... without causing any harm... )


Damage Ratio: Removed (equivalent to always being * 1 (100%))

( In the original version, the coefficient is 0.5 for the mother ship and 0 for the test drone. )

( However, the results of the tests indicate that even if the coefficient for the test drone is not 0, it will not cause him any harm. Note that the test drone here refers to the type of armor, not the test unit of the drone in the first level of the campaign. Obviously, the test drone armor type is only used to create a story, demo units, and other situations, and does not affect the normal game. )

( In addition, when the ship does not have a type of armor, the damage ratio will not exist, that is, in the damage calculation formula there will be no this term, which is equivalent to * 1 (100%). If you do the opposite, the adjustment of weapon attributes does not include the damage ratio. Thus, damage does not take into account the effect of the target's armor type at all, and this term is missing in the damage calculation formula, which is equivalent to being always * 1 (100%).)


Impact radius: 800 m → 1000 km

( Make sure that the fire radius covers the entire battlefield, even if the missile misses, it will explode normally, and the explosion does not cause friendly damage. )


Target (shooting) Distance: 30 km → 1000 km

(Adjust the range so that enemy targets can be selected and fired at any distance within the battlefield. )

( Updated in version 1.1 map for skirmish Karos Graveyard is very large: the maximum straight distance in the plane is about 156 km, and the maximum straight distance in the vertical plane is about 50 km. Thus, it can be concluded that the maximum distance between two points in space is only about 164 km, which is much less than 1000 km. )


Missile life time: 20s → 1.401298E-45s
