When you unlock your broom for the first time, you can assign "broom efficiency points" on the "Broom" tab in the equipment menu.
Initially you only have 3 points, but as you move through the levels of broomstick you get extra points for each level: 1 point for 1 level, 2 points for 2 level, 3 points for 3 level and so on. This is consistent with the progress of the game and makes the broomstick upgrades more meaningful and valuable.
Default Broom: 3 upgrade points
Promote Level 1: 4 Points Promote Level
2nd level promotion: 6 level promotion points
Promote Level 3: 9 level up points
