About This Mod

This mod for Hearts of Iron 4 is at the top of the Steam workshop and allows players to create unique states under certain conditions. Using certain buttons in the policy window, players can create existing states (e.g. Holy Roman Empire, Byzantine Empire) or entirely new states (e.g. Polish-Hungarian Union, African Union).


In order to create a new state, the following conditions must be met:


Be recognized by the State;

occupy all necessary territory; and

have political power of at least 300 people;

Become an independent state.

In addition to the name, the establishment of a new state has the following advantages


All regions that do not belong to the main regions become the main ones.

A whole new way of looking at the game, isn't it? Instead of fighting blindly against certain countries chosen by your inner circle, you can now set specific goals. This is reminiscent of a Total War where total dominance in the region gave a huge incentive to further play. But what other country will give you the opportunity to revive Byzantium, unify Africa under one flag or build Indochina as an independent state? That is the main question.
