About This Mod
Welcome to Better Generic Focus mode, where generics will get a chance to fight and a more interesting style of play!
Design Philosophy
The main motivation for creating this regime is that we are tired of the fact that non-majors are literally unplayable. But instead of a "I won" button, we want to make it more plausible.
A branch of the "political beginnings" tree is most developed in political technology to form a common government. Each path has its pros and cons, and in some cases you will have to adopt a more fascist/communist/democratic approach than you would like. For this reason, we have also relaxed the conditions for the adoption of certain strands of development, such as the collectivist ethos (which previously required a fascist/communist government).
What characterizes many political strands is what I call "fluid ideological drift." In other words, the more you adopt fascist/communist/democratic politics, the more your government accelerates in different directions. Some may like it, but after testing fascist/democratic and democratic to fascist, I think it is a good enough balance to encourage political rule without making it intolerable. If you don't like this, you can edit the save file and add the global flag 'Disable_Fluid_Ideologies' to disable it. Do this only for new saves.
Note: I'm sorry, I didn't realize when I created this switch that I didn't see the set_global_flag command in the console. If you're asked, I'll rework the switch.
