Anime History is the biggest anime mod in the history of strategy games!

Anime History is the largest anime mod in the history of strategy games, with over 50,000 registered users. Formerly known as "The Anime World," the mod not only populates every Hearts of Iron IV portrait with its anime counterpart, but also satisfies a wide range of anime tastes, with a focus on compatibility, consistency, beauty, and historical accuracy.

If the mod is out of date or not displayed at all, there may be a problem with the launcher:

1. Put all the fashions in a special collection. So you can delete and re-register them all at once, which will save you a lot of time and make your life easier.

2. turn off all mods.

3. 3. Remove everything in the /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mods_registry.json file. You don't have to delete the file itself, and I don't recommend doing that, because after trying I checked the integrity of the file and it didn't come back.

4. delete all ugc mod files you are not working on. This is the source of the problem, because even if you uninstall the mod itself, it will remain. ugc are located at /Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV/mod.

5. reinstall all mods.

Does this mode support multiplayer?

It's a mod for graphics only, so it will work. Multiplayer compatibility also means Iron Man compatibility.

Is this mode compatible with game saves?

See above. If you install a saved game, the animated portrait will be replaced with the normal one.

What happens when HOI4 is updated?

We'll get started and release the update as soon as possible.

When will the next update be ready?

As soon as it's ready. We will make sure that updates are released as soon as they are ready.

Are there animated portraits?

No, there are no animated portraits. However, it is possible to experiment in other ways.

Can Male Names Become Female?

No, because most portraits are illustrations without the names of the characters, and changing names would also violate Iron Man's compatibility.
