What's fresh in CLEO 5?


Improved execution environment for scripts;

Introducing CLEO components for reuse and code sharing;

Improved SCM functionality with new return commands and a fully separate scope

Support for line pointers in all native commands;

Script commands can apply virtual path prefixes to files in shared directories, such as game folder, CLEO directory, custom file directory, etc.;

Expanded error messages and improved error handling, reducing crashes in the game;

Sound improvements;

New directives to better manage audio streams;

Implemented Doppler effect for 3D audio streams, giving naturalness to fast moving sound sources;

CLEO audio streams now follow the parameters of the volume and pace of the game, providing better consistency of sound and play;

New debugging tools;

Completely new directives for debugging, monitoring and saving data to a file, extending the debugging capabilities;

Breakpoints for delaying script execution in specified locations and resuming it at will;

New and updated add-ons;

New directives in addition to FileSystemOperations;

New memory operations module;

New Math module (formerly IntOperations)

New module for text;

Add-ons and their configuration files have been moved to the cleo_plugins directory to organize the CLEO main folder;

Many new methods and support functions in the SDK.
