Drag and drop the psarc mod file to UnPSARC.exe to extract it. Inside, you'll find bitmap maps that contain sps files and a Filenames.txt file. (If you don’t see Filenames.txt, create it and specify the name of the sps files in the bitmap folder. I used version 2.4 where Filenames.txt is created for you).
The main thing is that in Filenames.txt "/" is removed before the bitmap images, so that the file is included in the repack process.
For example, Filenames.txt should look something like this when repacking.
bitmaps/metal_pj_katanablade_hero_rank_01_mtl.msac.d.0.sps
bitmaps/metal_pj_katanablade_hero_rank_02_mtl.msac.d.0.sps
Drag the folder containing the bitmaps and Filenames.txt to repackage them.
