About This Mod

Please read before installing.

1.) Follow the installation guide to avoid installation issues.

2.) If you are having problems, please refer to the FAQ and other help pages.

3.) Don't bother Tale of Two Wastelands or other mod teams to fix the problem. Even if your problem comes from Tale of Two Wastelands or any other fashion, we provide all support on our own.

4.) We do not provide support in the comments section. Again, please contact Discord for support or the help page above.

Welcome to the new Death Penalty Nexus page.

Use this page to store the latest versions of Wabbajack files. If you've already played Death Penalty, welcome back. By the way, this list is by no means easy, modifiable, or stable. However, we have used a number of sources, including Viva New Vegas and The Wasteland Survival Guide, to create as stable and balanced a list as possible.

What is Capital Punishment?

Capital Punishment is a hardcore, survival-oriented list that attempts to completely remake most of the elements of the Capital and Mojave, using Tale of Two Wastelands as the basis for the list to make it unique and fun. In the hope of creating a complex experience, the following mods were carefully selected for overhaul

Graphical changes.

Most landscapes, visuals, objects of the world, weapons, armor, and almost everything else have been completely altered to varying degrees. Upgraded, added or fully re-textured, the visual effects of the Wasteland are perceived in a new way.

New weapons, armor and clothing

A host of new weapons, armor and clothing adorn the NPC and inhabit the world. All this will bring new life to the game, create a variety in NPC and new styles of play for players.

New quests, quests and adventures

Many new mission modes have been added to this package. From full-fledged adventures to new professions or small additions to the world at large, countless content awaits you.

Players House.

The game features many new player houses that accompany quests or are hidden in the wasteland - faction houses, sheds, and updated existing player houses are hidden throughout the game where you can settle and take your breath.

It has hardcore and realism, but it is also casual.

Play this list as you wish. For hardcore workers, thirst, sleep and hunger are as much a problem as the enemies that surround you in the world. Many new changes and fixes to existing elements make this game so useful that you have to look at the world slower and be more grateful for the adventures you are experiencing. Gone are the days when the city had to go unprepared. If you don't have enough bandages, you'll bleed to death. If you do not bring enough food and water, you may die of hunger or thirst. If you don't take the time to wash your dirty back after you've fallen in the mud of the Capitol or the sand of Mojave, the difference between jumping past Mother Deathly and feeling her stench may be significant. It will not be easy, but as you grow and raise the level, the harshness of these elements will diminish, and your efforts to overcome the punishment of the wasteland will be rewarded.

But for those who want to play a little calmer or don't feel the need to manage the world around us, we have a suggestion: Play Fallout 3 and New Vegas the way they were designed to get a much more challenging but quieter experience.

Stability, balance, error correction and performance improvements

The big problem with New Vegas is that it causes many problems with and without mods. Without going into detail, this list was created using sources such as Viva New Vegas and TWSG. It should be noted that this list was created using sources such as Viva New Vegas and TWSG, and that many mods have already been tested in current projects to see what problems the added mods may cause, and many mods are currently being tested.

We have created our own mega-patch xedit (thanks to our Cambodia) to ensure the balance and incompatibility of most installed mods.

Disclaimer We have had mixed results in terms of productivity gains. Most users, including our team of employees, ran games with a frequency above 60 FPS without problems. Some users complained of light or severe stutters and performance problems at both the low and high settings. We're working on it all the time and we're focusing on it now, but we wanted to share this information with you for transparency.

And much, much more.

We will continue to update this page, as there is a lot more interesting in this list - if you are interested in the full list of mods, you can find it here.

Finally, all of this would not have been possible without the efforts of many fashion designers, the Wabbajack platform staff, and the people who worked with me during the development. All of them donated their free time to develop and publish their works on this list for free. If you have the opportunity, please take the time to nominate some of these authors and send them good feedback.

If you liked the list, please make a donation.
