About This Mod

A modern user interface, or MUX for short, is a set of interface mods. These mods add and extend new features and tools to the game; MUX ranges from remaking the HUD interface to add-ons with additional functionality and frameworks that add additional features in a more accessible form.

Known Issues

The message item has a problem with the controller buttons. The buttons are not compatible with the font size, causing them to be offset. Problem messages appear only in training messages, so it is recommended to use a mode such as Tutorial Killer.


What you need.

The M.U.X. series requires the following mods: VUI+ 9.48 or later, Vanilla UI Extension 1.07 or later.

Allow M.U.X. to overwrite VUI+ and VUIE. Don't let other mods overwrite M.U.X.


As with conventional scripting extenders, do not keep track of where the functions are from.

The M.U.X. archive must be installed after VUI+, VUIE, and UI MOD. Plugins are not up to date.


License.

I allow you to modify my plugins and use them in your projects. I do not allow you to modify the plugin.

Textures in this fashion can be modified and used provided that the necessary permissions are obtained from the original author (see credits).

XML files in this mode are not allowed to be modified, reused, or reloaded. There are no exceptions.

You can't create translations of this fashion until I give you permission.


There is a 'Screwed Things' folder in the archive which you can use freely. You don't need loans, permissions or anything else in this folder.
