About This Mod

17 new lines for NCR soldiers, Rangers and MPs, x 14 vote types = 238 total! Written by me, voiced by AI.

Mojave's patrols make me want to spend the nuclear winter.


I wanted to do something like this for a long time, and then I finally did. This mod is just a small variation of the NCR's combined arms greeting. He uses the same terms as the general's vanilla dialog, so he should not interfere with anything. It must also be consistent with the FPGE scenario.


Most of the dialog is written to be spoken by the soldiers by default (at the beginning of the game), but some dialog can be heard from Rangers and Members of Parliament, and they respond to certain missions and reputations. For example, we noticed that the game did not have a dialog commenting on the outcome of the game "I fought the law", so we added a dialog. We've worked out VoiceType for all the normal NCR soldiers, except the ghouls (the ghouls of the NCR have a mod that adds their own dialog).


Everything must be of high quality and almost indistinguishable from vanilla. I don't intend to do anything, so don't ask.


There can be many suggestions to make missions more responsive. Unfortunately, it’s expensive, and my patience for editing audio files is limited. I'll probably update it from time to time, but if you personally want me to add something, you can do it yourself. Another reason I did this is to show that it is possible with a new synthesis of speech beyond simple quests, and hopefully other mod makers will expand the dialogs for other factions. To be honest, given the game’s poor reputation for repeated cheers, I am surprised that no one has done anything like it yet.
