About This Mod

This frame allows animators to easily implement akimbo weapons.

Do not use this mod with Vortex. It will delete the folders required for this mod to work. Use MO2 instead.


We are looking for people with different skills (animation, modeling, C++, XML, Lv design, writing). If you would like to help further develop NVWO, test it, create new features or just ask a question, you can contact us on discord.




Which includes.

-Allows you to duplicate with any combination of weapons if there are animations to support it.

-There is no need to edit the mesh, and the Akimbo weapon must work with all weapon mesh modifiers.

-All node moves are processed.

-There are several options for how the game will handle Akimbo.


New Akimbo animations must be made with this framework's functionality in mind. Existing weapons in nexus can be made backwards compatible, but this is not ideal. modders must use NVWO Devkit if necessary.

AkimboID for Akimbo weapons must be leftWeaponEditorID and rightWeaponEditorID.

If you want to animate two fists with a 9mm gun in your left hand and a .44 Magnum in your right hand.

The AkimboID will look like this: WeapNVV9mmPistol & WeapNVV44Revolver
