About This Mod

It allows you to configure any number of modes from a single menu.

The Modes Configuration (MCM) menu is a resource that can use other modes, with the Mode Configuration option button on the Pause menu.

Clicking this button will open a window with a list of all modes that use MCM. Each of the listed modes can be configured from the same menu.

As you can see from the screenshots, the menu is very easy to use and allows you to adjust modes quickly and safely. You don't need to use artifacts or press special keys.

For modders who want to use the MCM menu for their own mods, a detailed guide is attached explaining how to do this.

MODS that use MCM only need to install and enable MCM to use the menu. The system does not have wizard dependencies, so the mod will work even if the user does not have MCM installed.

(Note: The mod configuration menu will not be distributed with mods that use it. Please provide a link to this page so users can get it).

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How can I use MCM?

A. To set the mod, pause the game and select "Mode Configuration". You must also have MCM compatible mods installed.

Q. MCM prompts me to remove unnecessary XML strings. What should I do?

A. You need to remove duplicate lines<include src="MCM\MCM.xml"></include>, there can only be one in Datamenus.xml or Datamenus.xml.

Q. Will MCM be created for Fallout3?

A. Probably not; FOSE does not have NVSE functionality to easily create MCMs.

Q. Why can't I see any other MCM mods in Project Nevada after I have integrated and installed MCM?

A. You must use a separate MCM. The integrated version of Project Nevada is only available for this mode.

Q. I have updated Project Nevada to version 2.3, and now the menu works strange?

A. Please upgrade your MCM to the official version 1.2 or higher.

Q. Why can't I pick a mod at the bottom of the mod list?
