**Note: the picture is based on the Type 3 Body/Armor mode (http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=34825),)), so the female armor is bare on the most potroh. Vanilla mesh armor still covers it.


I remember being very happy when I saw leather armor on the merchant's list of items - in the early stages of the first two Fallout games, it was always the best outfit you could get!

In the first two Fallout games, it was the best gear that could be obtained in the early stages. Not only did he have good protection and could be easily retrieved, but the black Leather Warrior Road outfit was always a good thing, right?

**v1.4 Update: Updated for New Vegas! Includes a new style of Mark 2 leather armor.

Installation.


1) Copy the Textures folder to the Data folder under the Fallout 3 software folder. You can also copy files and subfolders to the Textures folder.

You can also copy them manually to a folder.


2) Copy the ArchiveInvalidation.txt file to the Fallout 3 folder, if it is not already there. If it is there, copy the following text and

Add to existing:


textures/armor/leatherarmor/outfitf.dds

textures/armor/leatherarmor/outfitm.dds

textures/armour/leatherarmour/glovem.dds

textures/armour/leatherarmour/outfitf_n.dds

textures/armour/leather armour/outfit m.dds

texture/armor/leather armor/gloves m_n.dds


Navigate to and edit the FALLOUT.ini file.

"Change the string 'bInvalidateOlderFiles=0' to 'bInvalidateOlderFiles=1'.


Install Fallout 3 and you're all set!


Alternatively, we recommend the following


1) Download Fallout New Vegas:

http://www.newvegasnexus.com/downloads/file.php?id=35935


2) Copy the AII-FNV!.bsa file to the 'data' folder.


3) Double-click on 'Fallout New Vegas ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated!.exe'.


4) Click Activate and close the window.


You should not bother the ArchiveInvalidation file anymore! :)
