Like most of my recent releases, this one I started and ended a year ago. Overall, it was deemed good enough for release, but I could have done things differently - especially given that there are currently no Tesla Cannon animations, and especially given that I spent enough time banging my head against the wall trying to fix the problems.
The reason for these problems was that they affected the quality of the animation. In fact, the skeleton of the knot had problems with rotation. For those who do not know, knots are used to move small parts of the weapon, such as levers and magazines. The nodes were broken and did not transfer correctly to the game. The jam animation could be cracked and fixed, but not reloaded, so the animation set just lay there for months. Heathman, as a very worthy person, tried to help fix this issue before release, but the only acceptable solution was to break the third-person perspective node. I don't support a third-person perspective, but I was never going to break it.
The reboot would be much more detailed and interesting than what we have now. I chose to reload without a knot at all, making it look like the character is pressing a button on the handles and "loading" the gun with a sound effect that Hopper31 has generously taught me. While this is far from perfect, its advantage is that the reload now has the same length as the vanilla animation, and this set of animations is released. This is because this animation is better than vanilla, even if you want to tinker with levers, stabilizers, etc.
