About This Mod
76OT is a simple mod that I made to help my old GPU live a little longer. Fallout 76 uses very large textures that older graphics cards can struggle to handle. Some normal maps are giant ("Seneca Rocks" are 4096 x 2048!), some diffusers are too wide compared to the number of details, and the list goes on. This mod is intended to correct the situation by reducing the scale of all these textures.
How do I install it?
Download the .rar file from the Files tab on this page and drop the .ba2 file into the Fallout76\Data folder. (There will already be other .ba2 files.)
Then go to Documents\My Games\Fallout 76 and add the following lines to Fallout76Custom.ini
[Archive]
sResourceArchive2List=76OT.ba2
If you don't already have Fallout76Custom.ini, create it and add this line to it.
