About This Mod

Edit: This is the first time in four years that I've just signed in to this account. If I were you, I wouldn't use this mod! It was very early, never tested or updated, and does little. There are certainly better modes to achieve what you hope to achieve with this. You have every right to do whatever you want with esp and textures.


Original description:

In vanilla Fallout 4, human boys and girls share meshes and textures, except for body textures. In addition, ghouled children have only male textures and do not have female ones. This mod makes a difference with .esp and some free files. Each type of child now has unique body and hand textures and meshes in data/textures/ChildrenExtended and data/meshes/ChildrenExtended.


At the moment, the only real benefit of this fashion will be for Abbalovesyou's Playable Children users, who will now be able to create female ghoul characters with work grids and body textures, or jenthecopycat's Child Settlers, as this mode includes a female ghoul child. Children Extended is compatible with all of these mods and with another Abbalovesyou mod - Killable Children.


At the moment, this mod is more a resource for modders than the actual mod. Its installation will not lead to any noticeable changes without a combination with other modes, since the only non-vanilla assets it includes are assets for female wight children, and they still do not exist in the base game. I hope other fashion designers will create better body nets for children in the future. Please email me if you're planning to create a fashion like this and would like to use all the materials from .esp of that fashion in your own.


In the future, I intend to develop this mod, to hopefully improve the strange identical children in the game. I could expand it beyond children, for example, to allow different body modifications for different adult races, but I think the problems with the textures that it would solve (for example, CBBE, breaking female ghouls) are solved in other ways in my other fashion, Additional Body Textures.
