About This Mod

In short, this mod disables the player's voice using a .esp plug-in file. The plugin reduces the volume of the audio category for the player's voice to 0. This approach differs from other mods at the time of writing, read below for more information.

While other modes introduce alternative sound files and/or make character messages very short by changing the sound type, this mode instead shows the full length of all the player's character dialog voices (if subtitles are enabled) and does not affect any sound files/types.

Using this mod, you will experience the natural length of any dialog the player voices without hearing the voice. In the dialog chamber, you will see the character synchronize lips without hearing any voice.

With this in mind, this mod is useful when combined with Full Dialogue Interface mod or if you want the amount of movement of your character's mouth when voiced with a dialog camera to reflect real speech.

I don't have a video for comparison yet, but I'm thinking of doing it if the difference is not obvious. This is a very simple mod, which since version 0.6 is also included in my other SCDC mod (if you already use it, then this mod is not needed), which I also recommend to use together with the excellent Full Dialogue Interface.

If you don't like this way of voicing characters, I recommend one of the following two mods: NoPlayerVoice from adriant1978 or Silenceis Golden - Silent Protagonists from VladiMatt. [/center]
