Nick Valentine's Day

This fashion allows Nick Valentine, the Great Factory Dick, to finally put on something else besides this cursed coat. Of course, coats are great, it's his signature outfit, but there's no reason why he should be completely limited to them.

This mod makes several small changes to Nick's image and one large. The main change is that he can now wear anything you do. The small changes are that it is now customizable and will take combat damage from Gen2 Synth. Now you have full control over what Nick looks like and what equipment he can use.

What makes this mod:

He also changes Nick Valentine's race, including giving him the battle damage effect of Gen2.

Allows Nick Valentine to wear any clothes in the game! This is done by changing the record of his race.

Allows you to upgrade his cloak and hat, as well as everything else you give him to keep up with your other companions.

Gives Nick a decent revolver, not counting the trumpet's wretched revolver. He uses the same ammunition (NPC). If you're booting into a game where you already have a Nick, just grab his gun and upgrade it with .44 Revolver parts.

Under his outfit, Nick receives a skeletal Gen2 body that eventually looks bloody cool. (See screenshots.)

Allows you to fully adjust how much or how little skin Nick has on his body. Simply create plastic parts at the chemical plant and then attach them to it.

What this mod does not do:

Modify Nick's NPC record. This means that it will be compatible with other mods that directly modify Nick's NPC record.

Change Nick's voice, his appearance, or anything you can see. It should look exactly the same as when you first meet.

Change his starting gear. He will use a different version of the outfit (the one he gives you), but it looks the same, and it's just a playable human version that anyone can use.

Change his skin or eyes. In some of the images, you can see Nick's different eyes and skin, showing that you can - can - use these different textures.

I use Improved Gen 2 Synths mod in most of my pictures. If you want the same thing, download it and get the Nick Valentine patch.

Additional garment fix:

Requires Armorsmith Extended to work!

Install the Valentine's Version mod in the Lining or Addon slot, or in the Gloves slot, to make your skin transparent.

At this point, it is the best way to do that. If I did it differently, it would be incompatible with all the mods that change these outfits, and that's not what I want to play with.

Problems:

In games where you've already met Nick, his left hand may not be visible. Just go to the chemical plant and make it a new "Gen2 Left Hand" of 2 plastics. In new games, his starting pack will have a hand by default.

Some people report that Nick does not fire long-range weapons at all in their games. If you have this, please write in the Bugs section, indicating the full download order. (As it is displayed in your Plugins.txt, please).

Uninstall:

Before removing a mod, BE SURE to remove all items you put on Nick, otherwise failures may occur. It is highly recommended to equip it with Gen2 Full Body during removal, as this will completely remove the body slot and will remove itself upon removal.
