We are the Minutemen
About This Mod
The Minutemen are supposed to be the best alternative for rebuilding the Commonwealth because: more settlements = more resources = better materials = better firepower and a greater presence throughout the Commonwealth. But that is not the case now, and the mod is trying to fix it.
Quests
The main quests of the Minitmen
- Preston will not ask you to re-capture the castle until you reach player level 20. Once you reach level 20, complete the Minutemen radiant quest by talking to Preston and the Take the Castle quest appears.
- A 24-hour chill was added to the dialog with Preston: "Do you think we're ready to retake the castle?" Thus, players will always have the opportunity to talk, fire, hire, exchange with Preston, complete the current Radiant quest or start a new one.
Quests of Radiant Destroyers
- Reduced the % probability of the beginning of the quest radiant Minutmen.
- The maximum number of simultaneous quests that Preston will give you is reduced to 1 instead of 3
- Added a cooling period for each Minutman radiant quest (96 hours per game instead of 0) to prevent the quest from being repeated immediately after it is completed and to make the game to diversify the quests given out.
Quest "Small Arms
- Range of fire from the missile launcher increased.
"The minutemen called by the flamethrower will now follow you for a while and then return to their duties.
"They'll follow you inside the building and out on foot.
"The only exception is if the squad leader dies, in which case they'll act like vanilla.
Random Quest "Minutemen Patrols
"The chance to see a destroyer patrol in the vicinity of your communities has increased significantly.
Progression of the faction
Level
- The level of peacekeepers is now proportional to the level of the player.
"Some time later, veterans and force-armor holders will join the ranks of peacekeepers.
"At the same time, the level of all peacekeepers will still be lower than yours.
Weapons
- The Minitmen's weapons arsenal has become more diverse.
"The more they progress, the more powerful weapons they use.
Equip
"The faction will progress, and every peacekeeper will wear the peacekeeper's equipment.
- At the beginning of the game they will be like vanilla, and at the end they will all wear Minutemen gear.
- Any battle armor can get the Minutemen color.
- The player can use the chemical station to create Minutemen equipment, but this will require a vanilla version
(for example, you will need a bandana to create a Minutemen bandana.)
- You can create new defaut satellite equipment options that can be unlocked in the Command Desk when they become available as followers.

- Use more different accessories (bandanas, glasses, gloves, bags...)
Faction control
Command table
- After completing the "Independence" quest, the player can create a "Command Table" through a special menu in the Workshop.
"Team Table" is a type of workbench that allows the player to:
1. Create settler-minders called local (remember to send them the team to "move" to their settlement)
2. Create settler veterans of Minutemen called Local Minutemen Veteran (requires level 30 and completed "Old Weapon").
3. Minutemen squad to save endgame checkpoints (those that appear after completing the main quest)
4. Kraft the equipment of the Minutemen without restrictions.
Minitmen followers
- Players can, but only in the castle, create through a special menu in the Workshop (the same as the artillery) :
1. The Minuteman follower (requires level 30 and completion of "Taking Independence")
2. Veteran peacekeeper (level 40 required and Old Artillery completed)
3. Minutman's follower in power armor (requires 50 levels and completion of "Old Weapon")
NOTE: Minutemen followers will follow you everywhere until they die or the player "saves" or "reworks" them.
Minitmen settlers
- As already mentioned, with the help of the "Command Table" the player can create settlers-peacekeepers called "Local peacekeepers".
- When the player creates the Minettes using the new "Command Table" feature, they will appear in your inventory.
- Throw them away (as a normal item) and they will appear in the game for duty.
- The game mechanics do not take them into account immediately, so before giving them an order, the player must either:
1. Make a quick save and then immediately download this quick save
2. Either leave the settlement where you have created new minettes by moving quickly, or move away a long distance from the settlement and after leaving the settlement by any means to return to it.
NOTE: The minutemen in your inventory will disappear if you save and download, so once you create them, discard them. Don't forget to assign them to the settlement.
