A fictional alternate story:
The young Kate was sold to a lab where they researched supermutants to make humans more resistant to radiation.
Kate survived the ordeal, but ended up somewhere between a human and a supermutant.
The Raiders destroyed the institute and enslaved Kate to become an arena fighter.
Because of her race, Kate can only wear fashion clothes. The mod contains a set of clothes that can only be used on Kate, except for earrings, collars, and weapons found in a chemical lab that players can wear. All the gear can be found on Kate's chest, next to a cage in the War Zone; since the Fallout 4 does not support two-handed weapons, the weapon in her left hand is mounted on the Armour only for aesthetic purposes.
