About This Mod

Q: What does this mod do?


Short A: He reconstructs the vertiberds and their meaning in the game, now they are a reliable horde defense, a means of transportation and even a friend.


Long A:


  • Improving vanilla vertiberds. We've all experienced how flimsy the vanilla vertibirds are, and there are a lot of mods that make them tougher... so this mod does this and goes a little bit further. I reworked what I had done in previous patches and improved more than just adding something to the AI and giving them more HP. VBrids are now PC-level, which means that their level will depend on the level of the player, the minimum lvl - 20, the maximum - 8.000. This means that it would be harder to fight against VBirds (they were rowed helicopters, and you could shoot them down with a few shots, it made no sense). In addition, their level is improved, so they have more HP, better resistance, they move faster and, if they are high enough, they have laser gutlinders instead of the usual ones. They also have improved AI, which means they'll be more aggressive and will shoot more time if they're in a good position, and if they're in a bigger position than they need, and they're short of lives, they'll try to run away, but if they're about to die (<100 HP left), they'll start moving towards the target, so... yeah, they're kind of kamikaze now... hooray!


  • A new rocket launcher was added to the game. The new rocket launcher comes with 3 types of gamazines: Marker, FMarker and EMP. The first and second gamazines move the user's quick move point on the map, so you can quickly move to it using Verti-Brain, as well as order it to go to the marker. EMI does the same as the grenade, but can be thrown further. It can be manufactured at any chemical plant in the "Utilities" section. If you update the mod, the rocket bowl is almost the same as in the later version of fashion, but now I have removed the "call to hacked VBirds", sorry for that, but they had a conflict with the VBrain scripts, so... yeah... i strongly recommend you put the cartridges in the container or just throw them away, you can keep them yourself, i will try to solve the compatibility problems, but as long as they are useless.


  • AMI grenade. An EMI grenade is a small addition. It deals damage ONLY to machines and robots, so you can throw it at your feet and take no damage, but it will also allow you to recover more robot parts, in order to be able to grind all the things that are in the requirement, because some things are expensive. Can be manufactured at any chemical station in the section of grenades.


  • Defensive Vbirds. It also adds 8 new defensive vertibeards to the "Defense>Tourette" section in any settlement. They will increase the protection of your settlement by 15 for the flake itself and 25 for the bomber, the most difficult and shooting mininuki... yeah... he's a bomber... better take cover, because he kills everything. My favorite is the rocket Vertibird.


  • New Helipad. Well, it's more like... INTENSE AND EXCITING request than anything else. The comments section is nothing compared to literally a dozen messages asking me to add a helipad to fashion, so yes... I added it, but it's for "aesthetics" (as MxR would say), because seriously, it's bloody impossible to get him to land on a helipad because of the way the physics of the game works, so I'm going to have to work hard on it. I have an idea that I will try to implement in future patches, but... yeah, i promise nothing but "i'm working on it." Located in Resoruces>Misc Category


  • Verti-Brain. This baby is a fashion key and contains a lot of new content. He's a personal vertibird that you can fly anywhere you want, yeah... but you can also do a lot of new things with its software, which can be created at any chemical plant in the "utilities" section. Comes with AI, which you can activate or deactivate at your discretion in the AI program options, and it can transport your stuff, now you also have an entry in the AI section to be able to trade with it without talking to it. You can create it in the Resc>Misc section of any settlement.


  • Pilots for Verti-Brain. In its program under "Hire a pilot" you can hire a pilot of any faction you like (including the children of the atom, because... why not?), and order it on board VBrain with the cost of covers. It's under development and more aesthetic than nothing, but yes... now you can use pilots as cannon folders wherever you are on xD.


  • Verti-Brain weapon. VBrain comes with new weapons and turrets. In the "Weapon" section of the software you can choose what you need: from laser turrets to missiles or mininukes - you have many combinations. In the same section, you can choose a new turret for the VBrain that will look exactly the same as the minigan (because other weapons will just spoil everything), but it will shoot lasers/blue lasers/plasma/Gaussian projectiles (my favorite is Gaussian :D).


  • Functions for Verti-Brain. The new version has a lot of features for vertibran, my favorites are in beta, but let's talk about the usual. As in the previous version, you can call it to come wherever you are and you can track its progress through the quest token. Now you can also get him to look for enemies in the zone you called him to, and you can also get him to go to a custom token, so for example, say you want him back to base once you call him to help in battle, so put a custom tag anywhere, call him to help, and then tell him to come back to base with a new command.


  • Flight orders for Verti-Brain. That's it. It's still in the BETA stage because I still have a lot to polish, but I think it can now be played. USE THEM AS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY. When it has landed, you have 4 options: STOP, WEAPON, TURN, STOP AND IGNORE COMBAT when it flies or hangs in place, you can also choose a course to NORTH, SOUTH, EAST, WEST. During the hover you can simply sit on it and fall along with the power armor, turning into an iron man. So yes, it's like a "free" flight all around the commonwealth with your personal Vertibird. At ATM, I implement the "Journey to..." function, with which you can fly to important positions, even if you have not already found them. So yes, VBrain is now a tool for :D research.


  • Debug menu for Verti-Brain. The new version has the ability to debug VBrain and your companions. Some bugs are quite complicated, but I did my best to fix them and these scripts. If you still have problems, please read the comments to see if your problem has been resolved, and if not, let me know in the comments or in the errors section so I can try to resolve it.



INSTALLATION:

Just NMM. You'll need DLCRobot.esm to make it work. Or in other words, you need Automatron DLC because it uses a lot of keywords and some DLC assets.
