About This Mod
Do you miss the days when the Brotherhood used all the power armor that came into his hand?
Didn't you think it was too easy to get T-60 armor in the Brotherhood's quest line?
Don't you think it's strange that the Brotherhood was able to re-equip all its forces with T-60 armor?
Well, I've got a mod you should look at. I don't know.
This mod equips all Brotherhood Knights with rank power armor and appropriate rank insignia:
Knight: T-45d
Knight Sergeant: T-45d
Knight Captain: T-51b
Knight Commander: T-51d
Paladin: T-60d
Elder: X-01 mk. VI
The player also unlocks these new rank colors after completing the following quests in the Brotherhood of Steel quest line:
Initiate Paint: A Call to Arms
Knight Sergeant: Show No Mercy
Knight Captain: Inside
Knight Commander: SPOILER ALERT Liberty Reprimed
The aim of this fashion is to make the ranks of BoS soldiers more visible, increase the variety of power armor found in the wasteland, and at the same time make T-60 armor more rare and special. Now that you're just joining the Brotherhood, you're given a T-45 suit, and you're only given a T-60 after you become a paladin.
THIS MODE WORKS BEST WITH THE NEW SAVE, BUT IF YOU WANT TO USE AN EXISTING SAVE, YOU CAN FORCE A PREVIOUSLY BORN BOS SOLDIER TO CHANGE YOUR ARMOR BY DOING THE FOLLOWING:
1: select the actor by tapping on it when the console is open
2: enter "recycleactor" in the console without quotes and press Enter
3: enter "resurrect" in the unquoted console and press enter
This mod alters a huge number of level lists and other items, so it is likely to conflict with any mod that alters Brotherhood troops or the armor they use.
