About This Mod

A simple mode that converts a shade-casting light source to a shade-free light source to improve performance.This mode is incredibly simple, switching from a shaded light source to a non-shaded light source.



There are 5 different types of light sources for the light sources located in Fallout 4: Shadowless Spotlight, Shadow Spotlight, Universal, Universal Shade and Shadow Hemia. This mode removes almost all dynamic shadows cast by the placed light sources (not by the sun) and improves good performance by replacing all shadow spotlight sources and shadow omnidirectional light with non-shadow spotlight and omnidirectional light.


This mode does not affect the dynamic shadows cast by the sun, but it is especially effective for internal cells because it only houses light sources such as candle and light bulbs. The shadows visible from the light source come from the type of shadow hemisphere lighting (which is very small in the game) or from the gobo, the false shadow.



This mode does not affect the cell, it affects only the light source itself, so it must be compatible with almost everything. Obviously, some lighting settings are incompatible with other modes that change the same light source. You can check for conflicts using FO4Edit.
