About This Mod
Allows you to sit down and wait anywhere
This is the third complete redesign of my Sit anywhere fashion, which now allows you to wait. This mod handles animations in a completely different way and has several different options and features that make it significantly different from my other mods. Ultimately, I hope to expand this mod beyond just sitting and add other actions you can do while waiting.
For this reason, I decided to upload it as a separate file.
Features
In the help section of your Pipboy, you will find seating items. Use them to sit down. Now you can wait as usual by pressing Y.
Companions will now sit down with you. At the moment, they are Piper, Kate, Valentine and Preston. I'll take care of the rest of the human companions whenever time allows. 'As a rule, it is best to put your companions on some level ground and ask them to stay in place to avoid being cut.
If you tell Dogmite to wait/stand, he will sit down as soon as you sit down. It takes a while, but uses its vanilla AI package, so it's compatible with everything.
IMPORTANT
1. Do not set this mode until you leave Vault 101. I have not yet created a script that automatically replaces a sitting object, as in my other fashion. It will be removed by the game engine before exiting repository 101, so just wait until you exit the repository to activate the mod (this is a common problem with many mods that add items to the player on first boot).
2. You MUST find a relatively flat piece of land to sit on. If this is not done, small breaks will be observed from time to time. Choose a seat wisely, that is, not on the hillside or on the top of the dead Deathclaw, and in 99% of cases everything will be fine. Nor can I accept the awful mesh/collision of Bethesda. Sometimes you'll be plunged into the ground, lol. That's the price we pay for sitting, I think.
3. I know that people will ask for more animations, and I hope to add them over time.
In general, I would like people to conduct beta testing of this fashion and give (constructive) feedback. Remember that the mod had to be rebuilt from scratch, taking into account the possibility of waiting. Everything is handled very differently, and in many ways much simpler. For this reason, it lacks some features of the previous fashion, and in some cases the animations will be a little more fastidious. If you need more fine-tuned animations and features, use my other Sit anywhere mod, I left it for this reason.
* Support for the companion is in the early stage. So it might be a little glitzy. If you want to disable companion support in this release, open the console and type
set AS_DisableCompanionSupport to 1
If you disable companion support, the companions will use their usual AI package to find the nearest available vacation furniture when you sit down. DogMeat will work as usual, because its AI suite already allows it to sit anywhere.
