About This Mod

Update: new grids for radiation removal stations have been added. Clean water can now be crafted at radiation removal stations. Water buckets have been added to all pumps and cleaners, and there is no need to pour water into the dirt. Water treatment plants can now be used to fill empty bottles with clean water. (conventional pumps fill bottles with dirty water.) A little cleaned. Added water pump from Wasteland Workshop dlc.

Special thanks to FLipdeezy for allowing me to use its mesh and almost all the changes that were made in this update. If you like water treatment plants but don't need all the other HC pieces, look at water treatment plants from Flipdeezy.

Special thanks to mmdestiny for allowing me to combine his Waterpump with Buckets fashion with this.

Immersive Water Purification is a complete recycling of radiation drinking water in Fallout 4. The goal of this fashion is to make getting clean water a bigger challenge for you and your communities alike. At the beginning of the game, it will be harder to get clean water, and it will be difficult for the settlements to get clean drinking water on their own. You will no longer be able to meet the water needs of your communities by supplying several water pumps. Now you have to direct the settlers themselves to produce clean water, which means that you will have less manpower to do other tasks. You can also help communities by manually sourcing clean water and restocking workstations. But it won't be easy! Clean water is a valuable commodity, and getting it is no longer easy, it is enough to "boil" radiation at the cooking station. The wasteland is a really harsh and unforgiving place.

But hope is not lost! Rare and amazing samples of pre-war technology are scattered throughout the wasteland. Water chip. It is rumored that they were used in old vaults. Once you've got a few of these chips, you can create water purifiers that will provide fresh and clean water to everyone.

What exactly does this mod:

The production of water in settlements is now similar to that of food. You have to appoint settlers to work at a new station called the Radiation Removal Station. This change has a profound effect on what settlements can produce. In the early game, to get 100% satisfaction for your water needs, you'll have to assign almost all the settlers to the water purification. (Or manually store the water on the workbench).

There are two levels of radiation removal station. The first level is very inefficient, but it is easy for new players to create it. The advanced level produces twice as much water, making life easier. You can also use radiation removal stations to extract clean water yourself.

Settlements are now more picky about what they drink. You can not meet the need of the settlement for water, putting dirty water in the workbench, it should be purified water.

Automatic water purifiers are the ultimate goal. Creating them now requires a rare chip of water, and requirements for the craft have been rebalanced. The water from the water purifiers was also rebalanced. There are two levels (the same two as in vanilla). The basic water purifier produces 15 water. The industrial version produces 100 water. An industrial water purifier alone may be enough to supply the entire wasteland through trade routes. To get the most out of water purifiers, I recommend that you also install Uncapped Settlement Surplus from IDontEvenKnow.

Water chips can be found in the world, but they are rare. New characters should look into the Master's Terminal in Vault 111 to find a clue leading to the first chip. Finding a water chip and using it to build a water purifier could be a huge boon for the settlement. The more water chips you find, the more water purifiers you can build, and the more settlements can enjoy automatic free clean water. Water chips can also be made with the help of advanced nuclear physicists and scientific perks, but don't expect you to be able to do that until the end of the game. With mid-level peppers, you can also fix broken water chips. Finally, if you have a search for luck perk, there is a very small chance to find random luck.

Base water pumps now produce only dirty water. They are therefore of little use to the settlements, although they can be used to fill bottles with dirty water.

The cost of dirty water reduced to 1 cap. Dirty water also no longer provides healing.

The player now needs a cloth and an antiseptic to make water. This has been moved to new radiation removal stations.

The radiation from the dirty water you drink is reduced by 50%.

Installation:

Download and install with your favorite mod manager.

Compatibility:

It is a fairly lightweight mod and should be compatible with most mods. If another mode makes changes related to water, dirty water, or water production, some conflicts may arise. It conflicts with Give Me that Bottle, so I made a compatibility patch for it in the additional files :) If you use this patch, other additional files (vanilla water production, without water production) will not work. Compatible with all dlcs, but if you have Wasteland Workshop dlc, there is a compatibility patch in the additional files that is required.
