About This Mod

I like fashion like 2029 Radio, PipPOD and Personal Radio: These are the modes in which users can provide their own music, radio, speeches, advertising or whatever and create the perfect station for themselves without going into Creation Kit. These are great ideas, implemented well. However, it seems to me that players can still be somewhat limited when it comes to creating the stations they want. So I thought it would be nice to create a mod that would allow users to choose different themed, personalized stations, allowing them to run multiple personalized stations at the same time. I just like having separate stations built around certain genres/themes.

This is the FOLON version. I also have a version of FO4, which is much larger, but the stations in this set are not quite suitable for the London environment. I wanted to include everything in one mod, but the number of options already seems excessive for one mod, and I did not think that people looking for user stations FOLON, will look for them in the set in the category FO4.

This mode allows the user to use up to 22 stations at a time. I don't think anyone would use more than two or three stations at the same time, but I wanted to give everyone as much opportunity as possible.

-18 of them are devoted to genres (ambient, avant-garde, blues, country, classical, dance, easy listening, electronics, folk, hip-hop, jazz, lo-fi, metal, pop, punk, r'n'b/soul, rock and synthesizer). These genre stations are functionally identical to the genre stations from the FO4 package that I made. The only difference is that the stations here are named so that they are more suitable for London.

-Four of them are common: One is called London Calling, the other is called Old Blighty Radio, the third is called BRIT PIRATE RADIO, and the last is called All Request London.

Yes, I've already talked about how strange I feel about certain genres and time periods in Fallout, but it's about your own stations in your own game playthrough. This is your computer, and so is your history.

You can choose any of the 22 stations you want in any configuration. Hopefully they will be compatible with all other user station modes (including the three I mentioned above) as I tried to use unique frequencies. For this bundle I use the frequencies 94.001-94.051.

Each station allows up to 40 tracks to be added to the game. You will need to rename your tracks to 01-40.wav (or 01-40.xwm if you want to save space and use LazyAudio or Yakitori Audio Converter). Below is where you place each track collection. For starters, each directory has 40 silent .wav files, in case you don't have the full 40 tracks you want to use for a particular station. The length of each alternate track is 250 milliseconds, so they should not interrupt the flow if the station is not completely filled with your own music.

I strongly recommend using programs such as MP3Gain, DBPowerAmp (my favorite), FFmpeg, Foobar2000 or others to normalize the volume of the tracks you have selected. In Fallout 4, the music tracks are usually played at -18 dB.

None of these stations have a track shuffling function. When I decided it was going to be a six-station fashion show, I decided I probably wouldn't add a shuffle of songs. By the time the bundle reached ten stations, this had become apparent. There is no way to add this script now. Just too many tracks from too many stations.

If you want these stations to play in the elements of the radio settlement, it seems that there is a mod that will allow you to choose which station to play: Turn that Dial - Tuneable Radios

I recommend that you look at the article pages to find out which stations use particular directory names, how to rename their audio tracks quickly and easily in an instant, and how to convert files to wav or xwm.
