About This Mod

Each large rune receives many additional effects that match their boss's knowledge. The goal is to change the gameplay so that each of them is unique and very attractive.

We all know the problem, the Great Vanilla Runes are not great. Therefore, feeling bound by the knowledge/abilities/role of the boss he belongs to, I tried to find something more interesting in every rune that really mattered in the game. Each great rune is now equipped with many new passive abilities and quirks that it gives you when activated, some have negative (-) effects to counteract positive (+), others are not. All vanilla effects have not yet changed unless described in the description.


I tried to avoid tedious changes in numerical statistics and go anywhere to change the game mechanics. Also, theoretically runes shouldn't be too overwhelming, but actually the AMI effect is something I think cool without thinking too much about the balance of the game.



It's still under development, and sometimes I can add/modify/delete effects. If you have any ideas on how to make this mod better, please leave a comment!!


GODRICK'S GREAT RUNE

Godric Vaccinated has no qualities of his own, but he tries to make the other creatures' powers his own by instilling parts of them in himself. The tainted become stronger by collecting runes (experiences) from other creatures and using them to raise their level, and this Great Rune helps them do so faster.


This rune is the "best" (but still boring) of the vanilla runes, so it has undergone the least amount of change. As the starting rune, I gave it the most basic but useful effect at the beginning of the game.




+ "Thirst for Golden Power": All enemies in all zones fall out twice as many runes as normal.








GREAT RUNE OF RADAN

Radan Starskurg is a master of gravity magic, and he uses it to make his massive body super light so as not to crush his faithful horse Leonard. A warrior with unshakable iron will uses most of his magical abilities to somehow retain his stellar mass, even while in his sane mind drained by decay.


His great game tells you about his control of gravity, that he is a master archer and jockey, but he is great for archers with any heavy weapons/armor that block some of your magical abilities.




+ "Gravitational anchor": no attack can knock you down or make you fly. Enemies that strike you with little force will backfire. You resist the magic of gravity.


+ "Inertial Reset": you get a higher maximum payload and don't always get how many lighter rolls you've installed.


+ "Feather Armory": 50% less toughness to attack with weapons and defend with shields and weapons.


+ "Voidwalker": you won't take damage from falling (falling out of the kill box and range will kill you anyway)


+ "Infinite Path": All your bullets (arrows, bolts) fly 999 times and deal over 50% of the hardest damage.


+ Most Loyal Comrade: Deal more than 10% damage while torrenting.


+ "Not tired, General": Immune to sleep (with current AMI nothing can make you sleep, but it is. Can this be useful for DLC?)


- "Million star charges": your total fp will be halved while the runes are active.


- "Big Hammer": you attract more aggression (enemies will be easier to spot and attack you, rather than invoke your soul)


Great Rune of Morgothimage 3 for the Great Runes

With grace, Morgott is a man full of contradictions and dualities. He is not only the sacred king of the golden line, but also the cursed omen. He was ostracized and imprisoned, but still struggles for the Golden Order. He knows you can't get to the Tree of Elves, but AMI is still hunting the discolored man who is trying to get close to him.


AMI AMI, honestly, I'm not very happy with this rune, but I couldn't do better, so for this pure wizard of his double-personality holy/damned no great rune, so I put here the most suitable ability for his magical structures, but it's a stretch of knowledge.




+- "Grace Given Monarch": active at 50% capacity. You can passively recover 1% fp in 0.5 seconds. If you deal 50% or less sacred damage, you deal 5% or less physical damage and 5% more sacred damage. Immortals cannot be resurrected (by melee attacks) when you kill them.


+- "Fallen Omen dirt": active at less than 50% HP Attacks against you will accumulate and eventually repulse the explosion. Your attacks will be enhanced by a dirty flame and deal 20% more physical and 20% less sacred damage, but you will take 50% more sacred damage.


+ "Raindel's Treasure": + Unlock 1000 items (e.g. "Raindel's Treasure"). In hidden lvl10, this increases the chance of getting items with a probability of getting 8% to -50%)


+ "Fruit of life and knowledge": using one of your raspberry/azure bottles will restore your full HP/fp (regardless of the level of bottle renewal).


+ "Manual for 2 fingers": not influenced by madness.


+ "Rooted in Erdtree": you won't lose your runes Tuesday after death.


Great Runes of Leicard

The offended Lord Rickard gave himself and his great runes to the serpent and somehow managed to survive in it. Now he absorbs the champion to make it even bigger, he is connected with fire/lava, he has many lives, and he can barely kill without using his weaknesses. The life given by vanilla runes is useless in boss battles, so I've improved it.


Use their runes when you want to survive.

+ "Snake greed devours God": Whenever you kill an enemy, the maximum HP is increased by 1% and the maximum FP is increased by 0.5% from the initial value.*


- "God-eating sloth serpent": Every time you kill an enemy and suck up lives, your maximum load on gear and endurance is reduced by 0.1%.*


+ "God-eating serpent envy": Every time you deal melee damage, you steal 3% of your total hp.


+ "Wrath of a God-eating snake": you only take 50% fire damage and 75% lightning damage.


+ "God eats the desires of the snake": immune to the light of Death. Immunity to bleeding (transferred here from the runes of Mighs for reasons of knowledge)


- "Snake gluttony devouring the Gods": Raspberry and azure vials do not work when the runes are active.


- "The vanity of a God-eating serpent": all spells cost 50% fp, and all spells cost 25%.

(*) The effect is reset when you travel quickly, rest in grace, or die. When the screen fills up, the HP bar stops growing, but the status is still elevated. Theoretically, the amount of life you can consume is limited only by the number of enemies in the game within a payload

Great Runes of Malenia

Malenia is designed for many complex battles because it attacks a lot and attacks quickly. Thanks to its large runes, it works like a Fp action-game rage gage, and if you build it with conventional attacks and battle ash, you don't have to wait for your stamina to recover and start fighting hard.


Use this rune if you want a fast-paced Bloodborne, hit & run-inspired style of play.


+ "Invincible Spirit": rally mechanic. When you return immediately after taking damage, you will receive part of the damage back.


+ "Elite endurance": you have more than 20% endurance, and the speed of restoring endurance will increase significantly.


+ "Elegance of the blue dancer": all Dodge throws occupy about 25% more two-taur pieces.


+ Valkyrie Mad Battle: regenerate 5% of the total fp in each melee that affects your country. The cost of gun skills is reduced by 50%.


+ "Running Water Breaks Stones": your attacks originate from stones/crystals/etc. It does not bounce off built shields or enemies. (They still bounce off the perimeter)


+ "Decay vector": not subject to rot and poison.


- "Congenital malaise": your hp is reduced to 90% of normal.

The reduced penalty for the effectiveness of the bottle with this rune was abolished.


Mufuga's Great Rune

Curiously, bloody Lord Mogg's own bleeding is rather mild. She uses the curse of Blood and is connected to an external God, a shapeless mother. His followers are connected with the transition into a form of aggression / otherworld / spirit.


Large vanilla runes are practically useless outside of PvP, so they have undergone most changes. Now he is quite unique, in this rune you are the pure summoner hiding behind the ashes of their souls, the murderer stabbing everyone in the back, or simply your negative consequences to keep the spirits from entering the game for you.




+ "Blood Blessing": The ghost great runic buff you receive for PVP applies to you and your Soul, which calls you into pve.


+ "Mother's formless embrace": they conceal your presence and prevent the enemy from noticing you.


+ "Ephemeral dynasty": All your spiritual vocations are now real spirits, and enemies cannot touch or harm them (but they cannot harm enemies).


+ "Sescenti Sexaginta Sex": (666 in Latin) Increases the duration of all buffa spells/spells by 666 seconds.


+ "Boiling blood": it is not affected by freezing.


- "Wound cravings": When you bleed around you, you gain a flash of blood for 13 seconds, dealing 33% additional damage, but instantly lose 33 HP at high tide, and you lose 33 HP%


- "Secular Divide": As long as this great Rune is active, you only get 50% of the Rune from defeated enemies.
