Elden Ring Mist Gate Randomizer
About This Mod
Use the fog door as the border to split the ring for the hands to make the door crash into other random doors
The fog gates are now permanent, and their passage will lead you to the other side of the other fog door. These distortions are always fixed on a particular seed. This mod is compatible with hand ring elements and enemy randomizers.
In 2019, I built the DS1Fog Gate Randomizer, inspired by classic entry randomizers like OOT BetaQuest, and in 2020, I created the St Gate Randomizer. For LOBOSJR. I built the St. Louis Gate Randomizer. I created the DS3Fog Gate Randomizer for Jude's fundraiser month. The Elden Ring fog gate randomizer is the largest, with more doors and options than the other 2 combinations based on the same base frame. Thanks to Lilagi for turning it on.

How to win
Find the narrow path beyond Elden's throne. After defeating the boss in the Marik Arena, the spikes are burned and you have access to the final boss.
Depending on the mode, you can select October to add additional requirements to access the final boss. This allows for runs that require further study. Even without them, you may have to explore to raise your level to battle the final boss.
Changes in the gameplay
This mode changes the following behavior:

Changes to the game will depend on the mode you select:
Earth mixing mode
Divide the world by the boundaries of space, the gates of the boss's fog and the warp. This is a mixed version of Elden's ring.
- All boss doors, multiplayer doors and curves are always randomized.
- You can run longer or shorter by choosing the door that you may need.
- If you need a door, it will only lead to other areas with the required door.
"If you don't need a door, it doesn't lead to important places.
- No new fog gates will be added (except the additional Stormhill-Liurnia flag)
Click on the blue link in the randomizer to find out which door you need. For example, the Battle of the Kidnapped Virgin Mary is always a necessary door because it is located in the Old Dungeon and on 1 possible critical path to the Altash Plateau.
Dungeon Scan Mode
The open world is disconnected from everything else. Make all the progress in the dungeons. It's like a foggy door randomizer in a dark shower.
- The open world is not required, but you will have access to some of them after defeating the main boss. Auto pop-up beauties have different icons to avoid confusion.
- The doors of the undiscovered realm (dungeons) will only lead to other random realms of dungeons.
- The main fortifications (Karia Manor, Shadow Castle, Morne, Redmayne, Saul) are divided into dungeons, separated from the open world, and at the usual entrance there is a warp gate.
- Trees with golden seeds, statues of sacred tears and nomadic traders were moved to the dungeon. Look around you and do not miss grace.
- In randomization, some mini dungeons have Evergaol-style deformations that result in a mini dungeon boss. Minidanjon bosses are "dead ends," and they are added because there are not enough outbound warps to access them otherwise. Other Modes
The following modes will be implemented later:
- Infinite mode: enter the area intended for a certain output. Flush and repeat. It includes both completing levels and meeting bosses.
- Boss Rush: start by building a final game or upgrade as you progress with the option of placing your boss arena in a fixed order.
Other mechanics
Significant changes (and non-changes):
- In this mode, both the version of the Royal Capital of Leindell and the version of Deck from Ashes coexist. As it works, all doors inside Leyndell will be moved to different locations depending on the Leyndell version, but all doors outside Leyndell will remain unchanged. In particular, these locations have 2 doors inside and 1 outside: an entrance through the Capitol Wall, an exit to the tower of the Eastern God Alta, and an entrance to the Eldwood thorn.
- Disposable distortion can now be repeated. The deformation after Fire Giant and Marix can be repeated when the Forge and Marix rest in place of grace respectively.
-Instead of relying on defeating the bosses, the Fade to Black Warp to Fell Twins Arena now stands after resting in the Tower of the Gods on the Grace Field of East Altus. The deformation can be repeated instead of your grace.
- The besa-seal gate in Falmoise has also been removed, as there is a multiplayer fog gate in the same location.
- As in the base game, if you have never been to a roundtable before, you will be invited there after activating the Grace World site outside Limgrave/Crying Peninsula or after meeting Margaret (in dungeon view, Grace Caleed Sites will be activated when you defeat Head Grace. the boss asks you to invite).

Scaling
Enemies and bosses scale based on how quickly they can reach the area. Scaling uses a basic gameplay system in which each enemy has a scale level: Godric's soldiers are at level 0 and Maleny's is at level 20. Scaling is determined when you create a starting number and does not change at run time. The last boss didn't shrink.
If you're using Enemy randomizer, you can also enable scaling in enemy randomizer for better results.
The scale is calculated by mixing the hierarchy of big bosses: the first big boss is assigned the Margit scale (level 3), and the other boss is assigned the Godric scale (level 4). Decom Decommunization in the area between the top two bosses interpolates between scaling the top two bosses. If the first field is the boss, it scales below normal (level 1). Overall, the boss curve is the same as in the base game, and you can make the best progress by defeating the bosses you can beat and exploring the resources.
Progress made
Elden Ring is a great game, and it can be difficult to track where you need to go. Here are some tips for ending this mode:
1. Examine carefully. In the center of a large space can be a multiplayer door. 3. You can use map markers to track progress. If you want to mark a place that will come back later, add a marker next to where Grace's website might get, rather than directly to that place. Here are a few examples of what needs to be noted:
- Boss, who will then be difficult to return to (the badge of the sword or skull)
- Places to explore later (walking people icon)
- Where to return later after receiving key items, defeat Morgoth, defeat Mariks or similar obstacles (closed chest icon)
4. If you are stuck, you can use the callback to check the starting door again and follow the steps.
5. If you are really stuck, use the spoiler log. This is the last file in the spoiler_logs directory that supports the latest randomization. Instructions for using the file are included. Basically, for any area you haven't yet visited, look at the oldest area leading there until you've walked down the path to a known place. If you're stuck in general, call a boss who isn't there yet and follow their path.
