About This Mod

"Change the spell "Catch the Flame" to "Catch the Berserker". This spell allows the Flame of Madness/incurable madness to "fire" its projectiles only at a very short distance. It deals the same (or at least similar) damage as normal "Flaming".


It can be obtained by starting as a Seer or buying from the Merchant (it can no longer be obtained from Brother Corchin, as he knows the spell of Three Fingers, and the Merchant is affected by "illness" Madness, and I don't even want to think about how to add the store menu to Hyetta).


edit item_dlc02.msgbnd.dcx edit GoodsName.fmg.xml, GoodsInfo.fmg.xml, and GoodsCaption.fmg.xml files into item_dlc02.msgbnd.dcx for those who want to merge it with other mods by editing item_dlc02.msgbnd.dcx. The changed ID, of course, is ID 6000 for those who want to change the text through the search with ctrl+f. (All this requires WitchyBND and cannot be done in Smithbox.)


Recommended mods for sharing.

- Imposes Madness on all enemies. However, this mode is completely overloaded, so it is recommended to set the value of Madness personally (all enemies have 0 Madness resistance with this mode).

- another mad fire spell simulating the fully automatic Berserk Burst used by Midra. In its current form it is OP, especially because it does not cause craziness in the caster, but it can be changed by changing the effect ID to 1732002 (or other equivalent of Berserk Squirt) in the Projectile -> Berserk Squirt parameters.
