Ray tracing must be disabled. Using mods that modify these ray tracing models will crash the game. Either ray tracing itself or the tool used by us modders in From Software games should be replaced.

I use REVENANT ReShade, in particular the version of Lush with its own settings. This is reflected in the screenshots I've taken for this fashion, so keep in mind that things may look different if you don't use ReShade.

I also use Texture Improvement, especially for 4K textures. This is also reflected in screenshots, so your game/record may look different than mine.

Don't try to play online using mods, download Anti-cheat toggler and offline launcher to avoid EAC.

Tips for modding.

The mod can be loaded during the game. This means you don't need to log out to install it. Exit the game (we recommend setting it to Windowed Borderless mode) and set the mod to normal mode. Then when you return to the game, all you have to do is equip the modified armor. If you are already wearing the armor to which this mod has been applied, remove it and put it back on, and the changes will be applied. If you don't see any changes, remove your armor, exit all menus (including the "pause" menu with emoticons on the right) and re-equip your armor. Visiting the Place of Grace can also help.

There is also a way to make the repainting appear on co-operative partners, NPCs and emulation layers. The Parts folder contains a set of files called DCX files. I always try to include both sexes, one for the unmodified version and one for the armor if there is a modified version. All you have to do is copy and add "_l" before the dot in the DCX file name. For example, change am_m_1470.partsbnd to am_m_1470_l.partsbnd. Do this for each piece of armor (am = gloves, bd = bib, hd = helmet, lg = gloves. Very few pieces of armor can be divided by gender, but if possible, the female form will have an "f" in the middle instead of an "m"). Continuing with the example, if you start with five DCX files, you end up with ten. This way, you and your associates will see the mods/NPCs/Mimic Tear.

Uninstall.

Delete the DCX files in the parts folder, or delete the entire parts folder if this mod is the only one installed. Otherwise the armor will not appear. Graphics/Colors/Modes Used in Screenshots
