About This Mod

I hesitated to try this mod for a long time, much less publish it. 'It's cheat, it's cheat! It's cheat!" And so on! But I made up my mind. I want to explain why. So, as the authors themselves write, they tried to do it in the spirit of old games like Baldur's Gate and Never Winter. (For which they were scolded.) In DAO, if a wizard throws a fireball into the crowd as it should, neither he nor any stranger can see it. But again, "Magic!" and all this must remain magic, we're not playing a firefighter simulator. Therefore, magicians do not have to create fireballs from the air using "Magic!" If he can with the help of a "mage," then why is it logical to assume that he can't set up the same "magic" to protect their joint party, nor can he.

So this modification does exactly that. Immediately say that it was done very intelligently, the author constantly corrected the mode, correcting mistakes and bringing it "to mind".

How does it work? The wizard in her skill branch adds another line with passive abilities. These abilities must be activated before they can work. In other words, if you take the ability from this branch, you get nothing if you don't activate it. When the ability is activated, if the wizard uses a spell with a negative effect or a spell that deals damage to the party, all of them are canceled by the wizard's mana. When the mana ends, the ability automatically stops working. By the way, the same active fireball ability at 1st level consumes a large amount of mana, so there can be no deception or imbalance. I would think 10 times before activating this ability, but there are situations when this option + fireball is the last resort, VA-BANK. I speak for myself, because I play in a nightmare. As for the easy levels, I think this mod gives you the ability to use it or not even use it. As for compatibility with other magical mods, I do not know, since I did not install it.

The following are the features of this fashion. And, as noted above, it is a whole branch:

Level 1.

When activated, prevents allies from attacking. Only members of the party are affected.

Easy complexity: no mana.

Normal: Mana consumption increased by 15%.

Heavy: Mana consumption increased by 30%.

Nightmare: Mana consumption increased by 60%.

Second level.

When activated, protects allies from attack damage and all negative effects such as slowdown, freeze, and discard. Only members of the party are affected.

Easy difficulty: does not waste mana.

Normal: Mana consumption is increased by 10%.

Heavy: Mana consumption increased by 25%.

Nightmare: Mana consumption increases by 50%.

Phase Three.

Protects all allies from friendly fire damage when activated. Only party members are protected from negative effects.

Difficulty Easy: no mana consumption.

Normal: Mana consumption increased by 5

Difficult: Mana consumption increased by 20

Nightmare: Mana consumption increased by 40%.

Level 4.

When activated, protects all allies from damage done by friendly attacks and all negative effects such as slowdown, freeze, and discard. It acts on all allied beings.

Easy difficulty: no mana

Normal complexity: no mana

Heavy: Mana consumption increased by 15%.

Nightmare: Mana consumption increased by 30%.

As you can see, everything is pretty well thought out. But that's not all: there are a number of conventions that are adopted by fashion. I think you should check all this in person. Here are just some: throw the fireball, and if you run out of mana, get on nuts: )))), throw fat, and if someone else's wizard sets it on fire or the fat burns for another reason, that is, you did not set it on fire on purpose, the game will decide that fire is the enemy, and will get back on nuts: ))))).

Yes, a new fashion line, but only with English spells in English.
