About This Mod
Are you tired of the vanilla summoner? Don't get me wrong, the summoner is quite strong, especially at the beginning of the game, but once you play more, he really does the same thing, and at times he's not very interactive, and that brings me to this fashion. When creating this fashion I had in mind the following:
- Give summoners more opportunities for their skills than just a summons and a couple buffs here and there
- Make chaos-damaging spells look really useful
- More calls to play with (ofcs)
I hope I've succeeded, but I'll let you judge it! And if not, let me know! Now let's move on to the specifics:
What has changed from the main game?
Not so much, in fact, I think that summoner is actually quite balanced, just at times it seems a bit boring. However, I made some changes
- Summoner has now been renamed to Occultist It better matches the themes I use for this fashion
- Overall bolt now costs 1 ap
- The totemi have a little more health boost, but I'm not sure that's enough
- All Infusions of Source (Necrofire, Ice, Cursed Electricity, Acid) are changed from 2SP to 1SP.
What's new?
This mod adds 15 new spells of different levels. There are two important types of spells that I have added:
- Hexa-Eyes are Debaffs resisted by Magic Armor. Each hexa costs 1 point to use and damage magical armor. Any enemy can have only one eye at a time. Later in the game, they can be upgraded to stronger versions by casting a spell
- Glyphs Glyphs are magical circles on the ground that give different effects to anyone standing in them. They're helping you, thwarting your enemies, or both!
- Creepy If you love lavkraftian horror, this style of play is for you. Many invocations and spells that cause physical damage. We have tentacles, giant worms, god-like creatures - come and see!
