About This Mod
Despite Steam synchronization, Dark Souls 3 does not use Steam cloud saves. This means that all progress will be blocked on one computer. If you try to play on a second computer or if your hard drive fails, you will have to start the game again.
This batch file fixes the situation and saves your progress.
What's he doing?
Use this file to move a folder with DarkSoulsIII saves to a cloud solution such as Dropbox or Google Drive, and to create a symbolic link between the saves folder and its original location. The game will save to a folder in Dropbox or Google Drive instead of saving them locally. Existing records will not be lost.
Required environment.
Windows Vista/7/7/8/8.1/10.
Dropbox, Google Drive, Microsoft One Drive, or similar cloud storage is installed on your system.
How to use
Download the batch file, open it, and run as administrator (optional, but just in case).
Follow the on-screen instructions.
If you encounter errors or crashes while saving or installing the game, try running the game as an administrator.
