About This Mod

Mod is no longer needed with the 2.0 game update to support radio notifications; CDPR has implemented them properly. Thank you! :)


The only functionality that remained in vogue for the 2.0 version of the game includes a "radio on demand" feature (for those who like a particular part and who miss it or simply don't like messing around with the radio selection menu (holding down the "radio" button) to see the current playing song).


The Fashion page will also be left for those who are still playing the old versions of the game. (1.*). See "Old Files" on the Files tab.



Cause

The notes to patch 1.5 mentioned that this feature was added: "Added a new notification with the title of the song when it starts playing on the radio.", but it does NOT work as expected, so I added it myself.


NOTE: Radio stations added to RadioExt are NOT supported D: (notification of song change for vanilla radio station should work; I have not tested both options too much)



Features

shows a UI notification when a song is changed on the radio (fixed by CDPR in game update v2.0)

shows a UI notification of the current radio play (if radio is on) after the player has landed in the car (fixed by CDPR in game update v2.0)

displays a UI notification of the current radio on demand (if NewCarRadioButtonBehaviour is set to 'true' in config.reds) the first time you press the car's radio button ('R' is the default in the game); pressing the button again after a short period of time (also configurable) will cycle the radio button as in vanilla game.
