About This Mod

Modular Military Helmet - Ops-Core FAST - A modern military helmet, fully ported and redesigned for use by players in Cyberpunk 2077.

This mod was requested by Grovac.

This is a combat helmet that is actively used in special operations forces in different countries. More information about the characteristics of this helmet in real life you can find in Wikipedia.

Lore:

Another thing I love to do is sometimes write stories to connect my characters and fashions to the official Cyberpunk story. I haven't talked about this before, but here's a fragment of the story that connects this fashion.

Every fashion I have has a document like this, some more complete than others. This is part of a document showing how this helmet was originally discovered.

Henceforth expect such a document on each of my future mods.

Modules:

This helmet is divided into several separate modules, which allows you to fully customize it and combine with other facial elements.

There are 7 basic modules that you can wear at the same time as my other military mods. Night vision glasses, along with lenses and screen, have top and bottom positions that occupy the same slot.

An alternative helmet with chin-tight straps is also available by default along with other items. Thus, the mod adds 11 different items to the game.

Available items:

Helmet

Helmet [A]

NVG [Up]

NVG [Down]

Lenses [Up]

Lenses [Down]

Screen [Up]

Screen [Down]

Headset

Microphone

Balaklava

Refits:

This mod uses the property interpolation function from ArchiveXL. With this feature, ArchiveXL will choose the female or male ammunition depending on who you are playing for. This means that only one universal file is available for download, which can be used for both sexes.

The difference between the conventional and alternative [A] helmet option is that the [A] chin straps are skin-tight, while the standard ones have been tailored to the balaclava in this fashion.

Available modifications:

Compatible with any vanilla or modified body.

Notes:

The helmet has a significant amount of space between the helmet itself and the head.

This means that most short hairstyles and a few medium-sized hairstyles go well with the helmet. Please note that you should wear the option [A] helmet if you are not going to use a balaclava, as this option uses the chin straps to tighten the skin.

The chin straps and balaclava have morphing properties. They will form around the sliders of your face and move along with the expression.

Very well compatible with my previous military mask fashion.

The mod is intended for use with other military mods.

Options:

This helmet is painted in the same color palette as my other military fashions. It has the same rude, reflective appearance as my other military stuff.

Available colors:

20 solid colors with neutral accents

8 non-standard variants with camouflage stripes

Notes:

As mentioned in the previous fashion, 3 of the custom variants will be replaced.

These three options are green camouflage options (Woodland, Pinewood, Tropical). Unfortunately, they are very complex inside and significantly slow my progress when trying to combine them into my mods.

Furthermore, they don't fit very well in the Cyberpunk world, as there are no suitable forests or green environments where they could make sense.

They will be replaced in all my mods (over time) with easier to maintain and more suitable options.

These options are "Nightops" (black with a blue accent), "Enforcer" (dark gray with a light purple accent), and "Zealot" (white with a red accent).

Items from this fashion have parts using camouflage patterns, new variants have custom geometric patterns.

Some individual elements of the microphone have the same color (duplicated) in some variants.

It's done specifically and I've added them just to have a complete set.

Optics:

Fully fried, and let's not even talk about the power supply...

The standard 28 colors cover all the hardware elements, but in addition to them I added a lot of lens options and screens that can be mixed with the NVG unit. They have their own set of colors, but it is identical to the same set of colors used in the LEDs of my fashion military mask.

Night vision glasses should be collected from the NVG unit itself, the rear screen, and the front lenses. It's supposed to be assembled from all three of these modules at once, but I've split them up for convenience.

Available colors:

20 reflective front lenses

20 reflective rear screens

20 glowing front lenses

20 glowing rear screens

Notes:

They all have different color codes, but depending on the lighting in the area where you are and how you modified your game with visual mods, some may look similar to each other.

They are available in both positions of the NVG block (up or down).

Personally, I recommend using one of the black options for the NVG screen in the [UP] position, as it should be turned off.

Night vision:

Update 1.2 added a functional night vision for the NVG block [Down]. For it to work, you need to set an additional requirement - Kiroshi Optics Night Vision Mod mod.

All you have to do now is simply equip the NVG [Down] item in EquipmentEx and turn on night vision by pressing F3.

This mod doesn't have a built-in night vision, you need to download an extra requirement (Kiroshi Optics Night Vision Mod) to make it work and customize it to your liking.

EquipmentEx:

The EquipmentEx mod is absolutely necessary for the correct configuration of this helmet. This mod adds a total of 364 items.

Items are distributed across 7 different slots. These slots already exist in the current version of EquipmentEx. If you don't use EquipmentEx, you can still wear a helmet in the Helmet vanilla slot and a NVG box in the Mask vanilla slot.

Some items occupy the same slots as my military mask, but everything else can be worn in combination with other military fashions. Also, if you want to wear items together but they are in conflicting slots, hold F over an item in EquipmentEx and assign it to a new slot.

EquipmentEx Slots:

Head: Helmet x28

Head: Helmet [A] x28

Balaclava: Balaclava x18

EarRight: x28 Microphone

Left Ear: Headset x28

Crown: NVG [up] x28

Wreath: NVG [down] x28

Left eye: Lenses [up] x40

EyeLeft: Lenses [Down] x40

EyeRight: Screen [Up] x40

Right eye: Screen [down] x40
