RotateBrush Mod for Cities: Skylines
This mod adds shortcuts for rotating brushes in the Cities: Skylines map editor.
Consumption
Activate the mod, load or create a new map, select the tool with the brush, then press CTRL+Q or CTRL+E. If you reload the keys to rotate the camera, this will change accordingly.
Rotation occurs in 15 degree increments.
To reset the brush, select a different brush.
Known Issues
As you rotate some brushes, you add artifacts (additional lines). Other brushes, especially larger ones, will be cut along the edge of the brush area. Brushes that do not use all the space work best.
Rotation slightly blurs the brush. This is due to the way it selects information from the original brush.
Sometimes you need two keystrokes to rotate the brush once. This seems to happen after changing brushes.
