New York City's subway system used to have a wide variety of railcar models, from clean to graffiti-covered and dirty. This gave New York a unique flavor. My goal in this series is to bring this diversity to the railway systems in Cities Skylines, starting with the R22 model of the SMEE fleet, which is now out of service, and unfortunately most of the cars are on the bottom of the Atlantic. This is the RedBird model. Be sure to check out the graffiti options in my workshop. I plan to release a drawing kit for all other artists who want to personalize their own trains. More livery and train models are on the way.

IMPORTANT ADVICE:

I left these trains at the standard speed of 24, so that it would not interfere with the movement of regional rail lines. However, the default speed is very unrealistic, and you will not appreciate the livery as intended.

I strongly recommend using these trains on their own inner city lines, separate from the regional ones, and using enhanced vehicle options http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=442167376 along with improved public transport http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=424106600 they are great for shuttles.

In AVO set the brakes and acceleration at 0.5 and speed at 50. Make sure that all trains on the same line are moving at the same speed.

Then use the IPT to precisely control which livery services your lines.

But you don't have to use them, as I suggested. They can also work at the regional level or as you like.

Although it is a heavier model than standard trains, it runs very smoothly. Tested with 7 trains simultaneously in a busy city with 2 shuttle routes, and tested in beta.
