About This Mod

This will change the number of households and (in the future) the number of jobs in the building.

Please read this first.

You can run this mod with your saved data, but it will take some effort to recover it. For this fashion it is recommended to start with a new city. However, if you want to use an existing registration file, do the following:

- Make a backup after the save is installed.

- Open Realistic Building Occupancy Settings.

- Carefully read the instructions in the "Overflow Maintenance" section and select one of the two options. In small towns, it is recommended to "Find new households". There may be more homeless people in big cities. Solutions to this problem are being developed.

- Return to the simulation and click on the "Play" button. Buildings with a large number of tenants will have the right number (you may have to wait a bit).

IMPORTANT: Only one service option can be used at a time; if the result does not suit you, reload the original registration file.

How it works.

Mod is active when the game starts. It should not affect anything other than assembly modeling. If you want to recover it, upload a save file with the deleted mod.

Housing.

"This mod determines the size of the building's floors and issues the number of housing units (the first floor is considered only for rented apartments).

- Maud multiplies this value by the number of floors to get the total number of residential units.

Housing units have an area of either 80 sq m/1,200 sq ft or 111 sq m/800 sq ft, with only one large housing unit per floor. Other areas, such as elevators and corridors, are also included (though the difference seems small). Rented homes are smaller (typically 3-4 units), but higher-density buildings tend to be larger, and towers are the largest.

Planned features.

- Change of parameters (for example, adjustment of size of large and normal units).

- In high-density commercial buildings, several enterprises occupy a single building.

- In high-density office buildings, several enterprises occupy a single building.

Advanced.

Why not increase the number of employees in each high-density enterprise?

This can negatively affect the efficiency of the building and distort the economy too much. I'm trying to avoid that.
