FindStuff enhances your experience of Cities: Skylines 2 by offering an advanced mod that simplifies the search and management of game objects. Being in the alpha phase, we are constantly improving its functionality and interface. FindStuff is committed to full integration with your gaming process, providing powerful features designed to increase efficiency and convenience.

Functionality

Improved search of game objects and interface interaction

- Single interface: Separate window for easy access to game objects, combined with an integrated Picker tool for accurate selection.

- Customize menu behavior: Flexible customization of FindStuff interaction with vanilla game menus. The following options are available:

- - Hide FindStuff when opening vanilla menu.

- - Move FindStuff to the top of the screen, displaying a compact version when vanilla menus are active.

- - Replace the standard FindStuff resource window, providing a unified interface.

- Saving Prefab Selection: In Overwrite mode, if a prefab is selected outside of FindStuff when it is closed, the prefab will be pre-selected when FindStuff is reopened.

- Dynamic interface resize: Customize the size of the FindStuff menu for an extended or compact look, improving visibility and accessibility to a wider range of resources.

Advanced search and filtering

— Extensive search options: Perform full-text searches of asset names, translated names, tags, and categories for accurate results.

- Advanced Filtering: Use category and subcategory filters with intuitive icons to simplify the search process.

— Sort: Sort assets by name (ascending or descending) for easy navigation and selection.

Keyboard shortcuts and language support

- Use keyboard shortcuts, for example, CTRL + F for quick search and CTRL + click for instant access to the selection tool, with the ability to adjust settings in settings.

- Full language support for all standard Cities Skylines 2 locales, ensuring availability to an international audience.

Performance, Optimization, and Configuration

Enjoy optimized performance to handle extensive lists of game objects, with features to identify potentially problematic resources.

Enjoy an enhanced user interface designed with the Gooee framework, with configurations that are saved and restored every time you load the game for seamless operation.

Installation

Ensure that BepInEx5 and Gooee are installed for Cities Skylines 2. Download FindStuff Mod and Gooee.

Usage

Activate FindStuff through the magnifying glass icon or through the HookUI/Gooee fashion backpack icon in the upper left corner of the game. The selection tool is available through the drop icon.

Important Notes

- Pilot phase: FindStuff is under development to extend and improve its functionality. Not all resources/prefabs can be displayed, and while user resources are likely to appear using standard methods, this is not guaranteed.

- This mod is a joint work of the modder community Cities 2.
