About This Mod

InfoLoom is a mod for Cities Skylines 2 that adds a new user interface window that displays additional information.


It currently displays

- Demand factors.

- (w.i.p.) Demographic data

- (w.i.p.) Structure of the labor force


Features

Demand factors

- Shows the value of individual demand factors for each demand type. This helps determine the actual importance of each factor.

- All demand factors can be shown, not just the five demand factors. Useful for a single industrial demand with up to seven factors.

- The additional section directly displays the demand for buildings and warehouses for each type of zone. Note that the "main" demand factor is actually demand for buildings, but in the user interface it is displayed as moving. It doesn't actually move, it's just a visualization.

- Industrial demand is also the larger of two values: demand for industrial buildings and demand for storage facilities.




Resource consumption

- This feature is disabled by default because it changes the data displayed in the vanilla user interface. Enable it by setting SeparateConsumption to true in the configuration file.

- Production user interface displays commercial and industrial consumption instead of showing surpluses and deficits. This is far more useful than just surpluses and deficits, because it shows the causes of surpluses and deficits.

- I warn you, I do not yet know how to change the current user interface, so the names "surplus" and "deficit" will remain. I'm sorry, I haven't figured out how to do that yet.




Technical

Requirements and Compatibility

- Cities Skylines II v1.0.18f1 or later; check on GitHub or Discord to see if the mod is compatible with the latest version of the game.

- BepInEx 5.

- HookUI v0.3.5 or later.

- This mod does not change the save file.

- This mod does not change the game system.


Installation.

- Place InfoLoom.dll in the BepInEx Plugins folder.

- The configuration file is automatically created in the BepInEx/config folder when the game starts.
