About This Mod

Welcome to the experimental release of Gooee, a user interface framework designed specifically for Cities Skylines 2 modders. Gooee aims to facilitate the modding process by offering a Bootstrap-style CSS framework with the ability to reuse React components. Our goal is to combine the native user interface of the game with the flexibility and simplicity of the Bootstrap methodology, thereby creating an intuitive and effective environment for the development of mods.


Functionality:

- CSS framework in the style of Bootstrap: ease of use and familiar styling options.

- React components for reuse: efficient development of complex user interfaces with minimal code.

- Native interface interaction: seamless integration with native UI Cities Skylines 2 to create a single user experience.

- Modular structure: import only the necessary elements, keeping the lightness and performance of your mods.

- MVC system: Gooee provides MVC system and automatically links models.

- More than 1000 icons: Font Awesome 6 font is enabled by default.


Support:

Works with or without HookUI.


Prerequisites:

Before you start using Gooee, make sure that you have the following:

- BepInex: a Unity game patch framework for downloading mods.


Installation:

- Make sure you have HookUI and BepInex installed in your Cities Skylines 2 environment.

- Download the latest version of Gooee.

- Unzip the content to the Cities Skylines 2/Mods directory.

- Start the game and activate Gooee in the Mods menu.


Documentation:

The documentation is currently under development. As Gooee evolves and improves, detailed guides and reference materials will be available. Stay tuned for updates and detailed instructions on using Gooee in your mods.
