It was produced from 1999 to 2006.
Model 206 - the most popular in the history of Peugeot: produced 8358217 copies.
The Peugeot 206 is fitted with petrol and diesel engines and has a variety of body styles: 3-door hatch, 5-door hatch, station wagon, sedan and convertible.
The Peugeot 206 WRC is a Peugeot 206-based WRC. It was used in the WRC by Peugeot Sport's factory team from 1999 to 2003; three years in a row from 2000 to 2002, it won the Peugeot Manufacturers' Championship. In 2000 and 2002, Marcus Grönholm won the championship among drivers.
